Thanksgiving

We traveled to Scottsdale, AZ for Thanksgiving this year.
It was quite a trip dealing with airport security and all our
stuff, but it worth it because we finally got to meet Penelope!

Jacques had a great time with his Grandma Chari, Uncle Sean,
Cousin Penelolpe, Aunt Aubrey, Alex and (Great) Aunt Sue!

It was also the first time Louis and Sean had been able to
get together in two years. Enjoy the pics!

Hurricane Ike

We've had lots of inquires about Hurricane Ike. The big question everyone seems to be asking is, "How bad did you get hit?" Well, we got quite a breeze. In fact, we had an empty coke can on our back porch that got blown all the way into the grass two feet away!

We were very lucky. We stocked up on canned chicken and sardines just in case. However, many of our friends and family in the Houston area were not so lucky. Please keep them in your thoughts and prayers and if you have a few bucks to share, please consider donating to the Red Cross.
